ABOUT

My name is Aya Lynn.

I began my medical journey as an adult critical care nurse where I spent several years working with patients who suffered due to lack of support at the end of life. Witnessing individuals and their families struggle to have their minds, body, and spirit comforted, I often noticed only one or two of these were addressed. With a heavy, yet empowered heart, I felt that I could bridge the gap for all three by working on my own. This is where I began to feel my life’s purpose blossom into becoming a Death Midwife.

In my years of studying death, dying, and grief I have experienced deep initiations of my own personal journey into the shadows of death and rebirth. As a Death Midwife and Grief Guide, it is my devotion to support people and families who are navigating grief, loss, and life’s many endings - whether it’s the death of a loved one, the end of a chapter, or the dissolution of old identities.

Death and grief are a natural, sacred parts of the human experience that deserve to be met with dignity. I am here to walk alongside individuals through these thresholds, offering tenderness, presence, compassion, and with reverence to their wishes.

It is my belief that death isn’t just about endings - it’s a portal, a space where deep healing and transformation can happen. With that, my calling is to is to ensure each person feels safe, lovingly held and supported, heard, and empowered in this transition with grace. I am honored to walk alongside the dying, their loved ones, and anyone who’s carrying the weight of sorrow.
